How do we book a session?
The best way to inquire about my availability would be through email, julianne@juliannegreen.com or call 312/520-1815. Sessions are not fully considered “booked” until a contract has been signed and retainer paid. Retainers are applied to the full cost of the session… should you cancel or change the date of the session the retainer is retained and a new retainer is due to retain the new date.
What’s included in your pricing?
While packages vary greatly all packages include a print release for those images selected as a part of your final gallery. When complete, I will send you a link to a personal gallery via Pixieset.com. From here you can select images, download them directly to your computer and print wherever your heart desires. You can also order images from your gallery. I use a very high quality professional printer for those special moments you want to display. Your gallery will remain active for 60 days.
Are you insured?
I am fully insured, an LLC in the state of Illinois, and carry a permit with the forest preserves of DuPage County.
Not all photographers are, and this is really important for the safety of everyone and your finished product to be sure you know who you are working with!
How long until I receive my photos?
I typically have them back to you within 2-4 weeks depending on season and schedule. If you need something turned around faster, I am happy to work with you on that.
Do you have a studio?
Yes! I have an cute studio space that is perfect for so many things... from newborns and smash cakes to headshots and grads. My studio is located in the heart of Downers Grove @ 1005 Curtiss St.
What should we wear?
I always recommend keeping things simple, and be yourself. And if you are unsure... consult with me, I love working with clients on wardrobe. That being said, a few things to avoid are busy patterns, logos, really strong neons, pinstripes, etc. It always looks great when families wear complimentary colors (not all the same, but complimentary, blues and yellows, reds and greens, coral and turquoise, pinks and blue grays.) Layers are always a good option. Pinterest.com is a great place to gather wardrobe ideas.
What should we bring?
Depending on the style of shoot, I recommend some of the following items, a change of clothes, especially if you have little ones susceptible to accidents, a blanket, a toy that might help catch the attention of your kiddos, but generally speaking, bring as little as possible... we are going to be walking around and we want your hands and pockets free. Newborn shoots: you will need a baby or two, thats about it… J/K I will provide more everything for newborn shoots and recommend neutrals for parent and sibling images.
What if the weather isn't what we hope?
If there is a strong likelihood for rain in the forecast the evening before your scheduled shoot, we will reschedule to a mutually agreed upon date.
